Men as any of the group in the church (Sunday school, youth, women) are essential to the church’s growth and mission. The church thus felt the need to find a way to effectively minister to men and so the men’s fellowship was started. The first men’s fellowship was held on 14th June 2018 in the main church hall.
Initially fellowship was held first Thursday of every month but later decided to meet every week. Now, Men meet every Friday at 5:00pm in the church main floor.
Our Men’s Ministry focus is “that we may present everyone (men) perfect in Christ” Col 1:28. We are dedicated to helping men living a life that is:
CHRIST-CENTERED: A life focused upon a commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord. A life abiding in Christ – walk as He walked not just in our words, but in our actions and thoughts.
WORD -ROOTED: A life of obedience to His words and love for His commands. As Matthew 4:4 tells us, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
PRAYER-FOCUSED: A life lived in constant communion with God, seeking His guidance, and surrendering our will to His.
Thus, equipping every man to a life of obedience, growing on to maturity and Christlikeness – men engaging in ministry through mission.
