What We Believe

What We Believe

  •  The unity of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
  • Sovereignty of God in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and the final judgement.
  • The Divine inspiration and infallibility of the Holy Scripture (66 Books) and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
  • The essential Deity and Virgin Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who at incarnation was fully divine and fully human.
  • The redemption from guilt, penalty and power of sin solely by sacrificial death of Jesus Christ as our Substitute and representative acceptable of God, effectual for every sinner who receives Him.
  • The universal sinfulness of man and guilt of human nature since the fall, necessitating salvation by grace and justification through faith in Christ alone.
  • The bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, and His Ascension to the right hand of God the Father, as Saviour, Lord and King.
  • The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin to the individual sinner, granting him repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. Thus indwells the works in the believer, sanctifying, instructing and building up the church in their most holy faith.
  • The one holy universal Church, composed of all who are united in Christ as God’s redeemed community, visibly expressed through the local church.
  • The expectation of the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
